GALLOWAY – A short blonde woman apparently committed her second armed robbery of the Smithville CVS 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8.

The woman, described as thin, about 5-feet-tall, blonde hair and about 30-40 years old, approached the pharmacy counter with a plastic bag in the air holding what appeared to be a handgun, police said.

She demanded Oxys and Roxys from the pharmacist.

She wore a tan stocking over face with eye holes cut out, according to police. She wore black jeans, a black hoodie and white sneakers. Surveillance footage shows that she left on foot toward Historic Smithville across the street, having made off with approximately 300 prescription Oxycodone pills.

There were no injuries reported. The store was closed for the rest of the evening.

This was the second time in a month that there was an armed robbery at the location. At 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 a suspect appearing to be the same woman committed an armed robbery which resulted in the theft of 300 prescription Percocet tablets.

Anyone with information should contact Galloway police at (609) 652-3705.

Investigating officers are Ptl. Chris Magazzu and Detective Christopher McGinty.
