Traffic Detours during A.C. triathlon

On Sunday, June 29 the Challenge Atlantic City Triathlon will be traveling through Hamilton Township where it borders Galloway Township. The Galloway Township Police Department warned that the event will result in some road closures and delays.

The following roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
-Tilton Road (Between Aloe and Wrangleboro Road) Local traffic only
-Pomona Road (Between Aloe and Tilton Road) Local traffic only
-Genoa Avenue (Between Aloe and Pomona) Local traffic only
-Drosera Avenue (Between Tilton and Leipzig)
-Leipzig Avenue (Between Drosera and AC Expressway entrance)
Residents are asked to use Cologne Avenue or Route 50 to access Hamilton Township or the Atlantic City Expressway. Blue Heron Pines will be accessible at all entrances. Motorists attempting to access Blue Heron Pines is encouraged to utilize Tilton Road or Race Track Road from Aloe Street.
