Voters take heed

To the editor:

After reading an article published recently in The Current, I was surprised to see that the Mayor of Galloway Township was one of many (a listing of names filling eight pages of print) who were delinquent in paying real estate taxes.

Perhaps if the township of Galloway were able to collect said taxes on time, there would be no need to lay off township employees and cut services to the senior citizens. Mr. Mayor, you of all people should not be on this delinquent list. Perhaps the voters should take note of this in the next election.
