HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – Sunday, May 4 marked day two of the opening weekend at the new Mercado Market, located on the grounds of the Atlantic City Race Course. It was obvious by the relaxed look on the face of Dina Guzzardo, who along with Dirk DaCosta founded the venture, that it was much less stressful than day one.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The evening of Thursday, Feb. 20 was a rarity at the Jersey Shore Children’s Museum, located in the Hamilton Mall. That night, the organization’s board members hosted an adults-only event, “Mixer that Matters,” to promote the venue to local businesspeople and other interested guests.

As part of its turnaround efforts, the company will be closing 33 underperforming stores across the country. As part of its turnaround efforts, the company will be closing 33 underperforming stores across the country. HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – J.C. Penney in the Hamilton Mall has been spared from the list of stores the company intends to close in 2014, according to an announcement from the firm.

"As part of its turnaround efforts, the company will be closing 33 underperforming stores across the country in order to focus its resources on the company's highest potential growth opportunities," the company announced in a news release Wednesday, Jan. 15.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – Thanks to a co-worker who refers to him as a member of the family, Luigi Esposito found himself sitting behind the wheel of a reconditioned 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, which he received on Friday, Dec. 27.

The vehicle was presented to him in a ceremony at Admiral Auto Body in Mays Landing as part of the dealership’s role in the Acoat selected Benevolence Program, which presents refurbished cars to deserving individuals or organizations during the holiday season.
