The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., hosts Furry Buddies, therapy dogs to help kids ages 6-14 with reading, 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 and March 2 and 16. Donna Downs and Colleen McIntyre-Berenetto bring therapy dogs Cavan, Erin and Freedom. Registration requested. Call 609-625-2776, ext. 6304.

Pilates

The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., offers Pilates for adults and teens 9:30 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 7 and 21, March 7 and 21.

Hamilton Township will offer a free rabies clinic 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Municipal Building, 6101 Thirteenth Street, Mays Landing. Residents will also be able to register pets. Call 609-625-6621.

Yoga for Life

The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., presents Yoga for Life 10 a.m. Saturdays, Jan. 24, Feb. 14 and 28, and March 14 and 28. The free program is open to older teens and adults.

Back row, from left: Genesis Sandoval, Lara Guerrini, Diandra Torres and Xiomy Garcia The Cedar Creek High School Dance Department is proud to announce their second annual Student Works Performance at 6 p.m. on Jan. 23 in the Cedar Creek High School Performing Arts Center; located at 1701 S. New York Ave. in Egg Harbor City.

The Student Works Showcase will feature dances choreographed solely by the students in the Cedar Creek Dance Department. All the dances in the concert illustrate the students’ originality, creativity, and artistry through movement.

Little Learners Craft Class will be offered 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor for children 3-5 years old. Free, but advance registration is required. Call 625-7000 ext. 5431.

Mary Roth: Sharing Music

The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., hosts Mary Roth: Sharing Music 1-3 p.m. Jan. 17. Roth has performed at folk and film festivals and has a unique style of interpreting world music with period instruments including the Celtic bodhran drum, dulcimer and bouzouki. Yoga for Life

The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., will present Yoga for Life 10 a.m. Saturdays, Dec. 13 and 27. This free program is open to older teens and adults. Participants are advised to wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel. No food should be eaten three hours before class. Sponsored by the Atlantic County Library Foundation and led by Janet Hahn. Registration is requested. Call 609-625-2776, ext. 6304 for information.
