Mays Landing man faces several charges after Route 50 accident

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - A Mays Landing man received several summons Monday, Nov. 5 and suffered minor injuries after he was a two-vehicle accident, according to Hamilton Township police.

The accident occurred when Raoul Herrera, 42, of Mays Landing was driving a 2002 Chevy on Route 50 when he struck a 2005 Audi driven by Tina Brickley, 29, of Galloway at 9:40 a.m., police said.

Brickley was attempting to turn into a private driveway near the intersection of Route 50 and Oak Street.

As a result of the collision, Brickley’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on the west shoulder of Route 50, police said.

The Mays Landing Rescue Squad transported Herrera to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus for treatment of minor injures.

Brickley was not injured.

Police issued several summons to Herrera.
