The George L. Hess Educational Complex will host a Scholastic book fair 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 12-16.

Proceeds will help the school purchase books for the school library. All are welcome to browse through the specially priced books and educational products including popular series, award-winning titles, new releases, adult bestsellers and other great reads from more than 100 publishers.

The book fair will feature a family night 3:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday with light refreshments sponsored by the Hamilton Township Education Association.

The George L. Hess Educational Complex is located at 700 Babcock Road.

Customers can help the school build classroom libraries by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List program, and children can share the thrill of reading by donating loose change to purchase books from the book fair for the school’s library or for children who can’t afford to purchase books.

Scholastic matches the monetary donations with a donation of up to one million books, which go to national nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping families in need, such as the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Kids in Distressed Situations Inc., and Kids In Need Foundation.

HessSchool finished first in the state and 13th nationwide during the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge.

As one of the top 20 schools, it will be listed in the 2013 Scholastic Book of World Records, which will be available at the book fair.
