HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – Officials from McDonald’s are scheduled to appear before the Hamilton Township Planning Board 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 seeking variances for a plan to expand and improve its restaurant at 4476 Black Horse Pike, in front of Toys R Us.

McDonald's wants to construct a 266-square-foot addition, add a new side-by-side drive-through, improve the parking area, add curbing and access ramps to meet ADA requirements and refurbish the building exterior, according to the legal notice for the application.

Variances that may be needed for the minor site plan approval include front yard setback, parking and signage.

The hearing is scheduled for the Hamilton Township Municipal Complex, 6101 13th St., Mays Landing. Plans are on file at the Planning and Zoning Board Office.
