Girl Scout Troop No11300 of Egg Harbor City assembled and donated 13 baskets to help raise money for a 28-year-old male cancer victim. The cancer has left the man, a self-employed mason, unable to work and provide for his 4-year-old little girl. He has no health insurance and has difficulty paying for his treatment at Jefferson Hospital. The We Care Committee is hosting a beef-and beer fundraiser for him on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Waterford Fire Hall in Waterford.
