Juveniles arrested after break-in attempts at two liquor establishments

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with break-in attempts at two local liquor establishments, according to the Township of Hamilton Police Department.

Police were called at 10 .am. Feb. 11 to Testa’s Good Guys Pub on Mays Landing Road for the report of a burglary that occurred sometime during the overnight hours. Upon arrival, police found that the glass was smashed on the side door of the business and several bottles of liquor were taken. 

While investigating the burglary at Testa’s, an attempted burglary was reported at Victor’s Liquor on Mill Street, which also occurred during the overnight hours. The outside of the store sustained damage; however no entry was gained by the suspects, police said.

Following an investigation two juveniles were charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, conspiracy and criminal attempt (burglary). They were released pending court.
