HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Township police are searching for a 32-year-old local man in connection with a carjacking in the Woodlands Condominium Development that left one of the victims injured with a bite to the shoulder.
At 11:02 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10 the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the Woodlands for a report of a carjacking. Upon arrival, officers located two victims who reported that a black male had robbed them and taken their vehicle.
Police located the vehicle within the complex and Harold Miller, 32, of Mays Landing, was identified as the suspect.
The victims reported that Miller used force against them to overtake the vehicle and stole an undetermined amount of money.
The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries, including a human bite to the shoulder, and was treated at the scene by Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, police said. Warrants have been issued for Miller who is being charged with robbery, carjacking, and aggravated assault.
