‘Restaurant Impossible’ team to visit Egg Harbor City area next week

EGG HARBOR CITY – Rumors are flying about which local restaurant will get a Food Network makeover in the coming weeks.

The hit show Restaurant Impossible, which features former Atlantic City Chef Robert Irvine, is seeking volunteers to fix up an undisclosed local restaurant next week.

According to the show’s Facebook page, design volunteers will paint, remodel, clean and decorate a restaurant in the Egg Harbor City area Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15. Skilled contractors are welcome to help out and have a chance to be caught on camera during the filming of the renovation and menu makeover.

Volunteers can sign up for shifts from 1 to 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and T-shirts with no logos. Meals will be provided.
