First responders called to Hamilton house fire

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - First responders were called to the scene of a working structure fire at 5876 Holly St. in the Laureldale section of Hamilton Township shortly before 5 p.m. today (Friday, July 18).

According to reports from the scene the by-level home was fully involved with smoke, and fire was showing through the front window when crews arrived. Tanker support was dispatched to the scene.

In addition, firefighters from Egg Harbor Township were dispatched in support of Hamilton to a second fire call at 1236 Blue Bird Circle in the Timber Glenn development around 5 p.m. Farmington, Pomona and Mullica units were called.

The Blue Bird Circle fire was reported contained will all safe by about 5:20 p.m. Crews were clearing the Timber Glenn scene by 5:36 p.m.
