Hamilton gunman jailed in afternoon robbery attempt

Samuel Jean, 21, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. He was jailed at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $75,000 full cash bail.

According to Hamilton Police, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at the apartment complex and located Jean and one of the victims.

Jean had allegedly pointed a handgun at more than one person and demanded their valuables. Police said a second victim has been uncooperative.
