CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will pledge $1 million to the Thomas and Claire Brodesser, Jr., Cancer Center Capital Campaign.

“On behalf of the entire membership of the Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, it is our pleasure to pledge $1 million to the Capital Campaign,” said Anne Burrows, president of the auxiliary. “With the addition of our second EtCetera Shop in North Cape May, we feel confident in our pledge in the fight against cancer in Cape May County.”

Cancer has affected several auxiliary members, she said.

With the addition of the Auxiliary’s pledge, over $2.5 million has been raised toward the $5 million goal.

“We cannot thank the members of the auxiliary enough for their hard work raising funds to support major capital projects at the Medical Center,” said Arlene MacDonald, Chairman, Cape Regional Medical Center Foundation. “Their dedication and spirit are true examples of the power of volunteers.”
