Big changes are on the way for the CompleteCare Health Network in Cape May County.
Their health office at 410 North Route 9, which opened in 2005, will be closed in the next few months.
However, three new CompleteCare locations will open at the same time, which the business owners say will better meet the needs of the county.
CompleteCare offers an array of high-quality health services to all, whether or not they have insurance, according to a statement from the organization. Providing accessible care is critical to their mission which is why the organization decided to expand their reach in the county.
“Our office sees over 9,000 patients every year and that number continues to grow,” said Darlene Clendaniel, Center Manager for Cape May Court House. “As we continued to add more services it became clear that our one office was no longer enough and an expansion was necessary to better meet the needs of our patients.”
The new CompleteCare locations include a refurbished office at 3 Broadway, behind the Sleepy’s in Cape May Court House. This office will provide primary health care for adults and children, women’s health care and other specialty services such as podiatry, dermatology and optometry. CompleteCare will also open a full-service center in Wildwood at 3700 New Jersey Ave., which will offer primary care for adults and children, dental care, women’s health care, behavioral health and podiatry.
Finally, the organization will open an urgent care center called “RiteCare” inside of the Rio Grande ShopRite. This location will be open evenings and weekends and will offer walk-in treatment for common illness and injury, Tetanus, Pneumovax, PPD’s and flu shots as well as other health screenings such as sports physicals.
“All three of our new sites were designed to provide state-of-the-art health care to patients in a comfortable setting,” said Emily Paul, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for CompleteCare. “Our aim is to exceed patients’ expectations and I’m confident that these new offices will do just that.”
The transition to the new locations will take place by June. Patients and community members with questions may call 609-465-0258 or see www.completecarenj.org.
