Bruce marks birthday at benefit

SOMERS POINT – Singer Eddie Bruce was joined by the Ed Vezinho-Jim Ward Big Band for a performance to benefit the Somers Point Jazz Society Monday, Aug. 6.

But Bruce was joined by many when it came to singing happy birthday, with a cake courtesy of his friend Ward during the show at Sandi Pointe Coastal Bistro in Somers Point.

Bruce said there is nothing better for him to celebrate his birthday than making music with this fabulous band and his music director, Tom Adams and bassist Andy Lalasis.
