Suspect sought in armed robbery at Denny’s Restaurant

NORTHFIELD – Police here are seeking help in locating a suspect who robbed a 61-year-old man early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Denny’s Restaurant, located at 335 Tilton Road.
Police responded to a call about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 that a man had been robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect is described as possible Hispanic man with dark complexion between 27 and 35 years old. Northfield Police Sgt. Eric Dettinger described the suspect as having a stocky build; between 190 and 210 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
According to police reports, the suspect used a black handgun to rob the man.
Anyone with any information of who the suspect in the New Jersey State Police sketch is or anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious early Sunday morning should contact the Northfield Police detectives at (609) 641-2832, ext. 190.
