SOMERS POINT—Students anxiously brought their parents to the desk to sign in at the New York Avenue School Thursday, Oct. 25. It was Spooktacular Family Night and the students were itching to show off all the people and fun things that make their school someplace special.
Director of Curriculum, Jennifer Luff said, “The event is a fun way to strengthen the home and school connection that is so important to children’s success in school.”
Mom’s, dad’s and significant others in the students lives had a chance to work on some activities with their children and hopefully, Luff said, they will pick up some ideas for ways to work with their children at home.
