Linwood native Ashlee Keating, 19, will perform a solo of “All I Want for Christmas is You” in the Hollywood Christmas parade scheduled to air 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 on the Hallmark Channel.
The parade was filmed Nov. 25, and her family and friends were there to see and hear her sing live. The number features eight dancers performing behind Keating.
The Linwood teen, who is the daughter of Dale and John Keating of Linwood, is living in Los Angeles and pursuing her dream, according to her mother.
Keating has been performing since she first appeared on the “Al Alberts Showcase” when she was 3. She played Gretel in “The Sound of Music” on Broadway when she was 5 and was in the national touring company.
Keating studied voice with Sal Dupree in Linwood and dance at Encore Performing Arts Center with Donna Daniels in Egg Harbor Township, her mother said.
In the past year she has been a guest star in three episodes of “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World” and appeared as a guest in the TV Series “Teens Wanna Know.” She has also appeared in “Victorious” on Nickelodeon.
