Linwood lights up

LINWOOD – Neighbors in this little lakeside neighborhood come together to find a connecting thread one night a year. On Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. the luminaries will light the way along School House, Morris, and Belhaven avenues along with Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton and Harvard lanes.
The luminaries are brown lunch bags filled with sand and a votive or Sabbath candle.
They run for several blocks and are spectacular tradition that is more than 35 years strong.
Neighbors walk the block and many will stop at friends to share greetings of the season and remember that holidays are all about traditions and family.
