SOMERS POINT-- The Somers Point Business Association (SPBA) will host its first breakfast meeting of 2013 starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Point Diner, 1 MacArthur Boulevard in Somers Point.
The SPBA breakfast meeting will feature a presentation from Diane Hessley, the Somers Point tax assessor. Hessley will discuss the city’s new tax laws as well as the proposed re-evaluations in Somers Point and how they might affect businesses.
This is a great opportunity for Somers Point business owners to learn more about the tax laws in the city and to have questions answered by Hessley.
The breakfast meeting is open to the general public. Member and non-member businesses are welcome to attend. The cost is $10 per person and includes a full breakfast.
The SPBA is an organization that brings together businesses and professionals interested in the promotion, improvement and advancement of the business climate of Somers Point.
