Police blotter information is supplied by local police departments and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Somers Point police made 28 adult arrests and two juvenile arrests for the reporting period ending Jan. 2.
Michael Steigerwalt, 55, of Voorhees was arrested Dec. 19 by Ptls. Shawn McKelvey and David Ficca and charged with failure to appear/pay fines and public consumption of possession of alcohol.
Jimmy J. Castro, 22, of Pleasantville was arrested Dec. 20 by Ptl. Gina Sambucci and charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving.
Michael Steigerwalt, 55, of Voorhees was arrested Dec. 20 by Ptl. David Ficca and charged with failure to appear/pay fines.
James P. Nugent, 29, of Sea Isle City was arrested Dec. 20 by Ptl. Shawn McKelvey and charged with failure to appear/pay fines and hindering apprehension or prosecution.
Clyde Battle, 50, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 21 by Sgt. Howard Dill and charged with failure to appear/pay fines and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
James Dagostino, 35, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 21 by Ptl. Joseph Switzer and charged with disorderly conduct.
Egypt Julisse Soto, 18, of Atlantic City was arrested Dec. 23 by Ptl. John Conover and charged with shoplifting.
Javis Morales, 19, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 23 by Sgt. Ralph Wood and charged with shoplifting.

Steven Palmer, 21, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 23 by Sgt. Howard Dill and charged with defiant trespass.

Andrew Baker, 50, of Northfield was arrested Dec. 25 by Sgt. Howard Dill and charged with driving while under the influence and having an unregistered vehicle.

Angela Newman, 26, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 27 by Detective Jack Sementa and charged with being a fugitive of justice, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Michael Dyer, 47, of Northfield was arrested Dec. 28 by Ptl. Joseph Switzer and charged with defiant trespass.
Christoph Way, 21, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 28 by Ptl. James Shields and charged with theft.
Steven Palmer, 21, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 28 by Class II Officer Christopher Haskins and charged with defiant trespass and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Cody Harris, 22, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 30 by Ptl. David Ficca and charged with disorderly conduct.
James Peterson, 56, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Dec. 30 by Ptl Daniel Bryan, Ptls. Gina Sambucci and Samuel Clerico and charged with harassment, terroristic threats and violation of several court orders.
Ryan Ricciardi, 28, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Dec. 30 by Ptl. Shawn McKelvey and charged with shoplifting.
Timothy James, 32, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Sgt. Howard Dill and charged with shoplifting.
Christine Donatone, 37, of Northfield was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptls. David Ficca and Shawn McKelvey and charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapons for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Fernando Diaz, 49, of Somers Point was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Joseph Switzer and charged with disorderly conduct.
Christine Pekarsky, 41, of Bayville was arrested Dec. 31 by Sgt. Ralph Wood and charged with offensive behavior.
Sherman Miller, 22, of North Cape May was arrested Jan. 1 by Ptl. Joseph Switzer and charged with criminal mischief, possession of weapons for unlawful purpose, terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Jamil Simmons, 21, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 2 by Ptl. Joseph Scioli and charged with simple assault.
Elsy Fernandez, 26, of Atlantic City was arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Mark McElwee and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and speeding.
Jon A. Paullin, 22, of Newfield was arrested Jan. 4 by Ptl. Joseph Switzer and charged with shoplifting.
Usman Rana, 26, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 4 by Ptl. David Ficca and charged with harassment.
Chelsea Nogle, 20, of Northfield was arrested Jan. 5 by Sgt. Howard Dill and charged with failure to appear/pay fine, possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe, and shoplifting.
Joseph Tronca, 35, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 5 by Ptl. Joseph Scioli and charged with driving while under the influence, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident.
Stephen Peterson, 46, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 5 by Class II Officer Christopher Haskins and charged with disorderly conduct.
Brendan Pancoast, 23, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 5 by Ptl. Richard Dill and charged with failure to appear/pay fines.
Matthew Verderose, 22, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 7 by Ptl. Richard Dill and charged with aggravated assault.
Diana Ireland, 34, of Somers Point was arrested Jan. 7 by Ptl. Gina Sambucci and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe.
