Armed robbery arrest in Somers Point

The Somers Point Police Deptartment released information Friday, Jan. 25 that they have arrested a 20 year old Linwood man in connection with two armed robberies that occurred June 14, 2012. The man brandished a knife and robbed both the Exxon and Sunoco gas stations on that date.
Evidence was recovered from these robberies and sent to the New Jersey State Police DNA Lab which came back to the accused. This male subject was charged with 2 counts of armed robbery and 2 counts of weapons possession and placed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on bail.
