MRA stalwarts honored

LINWOOD—Mainland Recreation Association President, Andrew Palmentieri honored three men who are retiring after many years of service to the club. “These folks have made our swim club a success for many, many years.
Pool Manager Bill Shaughnessy is retiring after 20 years.
Al Fisher, who held many titles over the years including president of the board, is moving on. He is a talented painter and even a success at removing osprey from the tennis courts. Al Metzger, also a past president is retiring.
“We’ll miss these gentlemen but are extremely appreciative that they gave many years of service to the club,” said Palmentieri.
