Mainland Mustangs celebrate their Group III state title back at the Mustang Corral in Linwood. Mainland Mustangs celebrate their Group III state title back at the Mustang Corral in Linwood. Mainland Mustangs Baseball team wins their first ever Group III state title beating Mt. Olive 5-3. The game was played at Toms River South High School. 

The team returned home to a heroes welcome.

Police cars and fire engines from Linwood, Northfield and Somers Point led their impromptu parade down Shore Road through all three towns and then back along New Road to the high school where fans waited to cheer the newly crowned champs. Look for more coverage on the game and the newly crowned state champion Mustang baseball team to follow.
