Ocean City Home Bank promotes banking officers

Ocean City Home Bank announced the promotion of three employees.

Debbie Clark has been promoted to the position of vice president of business development, Janette Raab is now vice president of accounting, and Chris Venturi has been promoted to assistant vice president of accounting.

OCEAN CITY — With its latest round of donations, the charitable arm of Ocean City Home Bank has distributed more than $1 million to local organizations over the last 10 years.

On Dec. 17, the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation distributed $90,600 in grants to 26 charities from Atlantic and Cape May counties, bringing the Foundation’s donation total to $1,035,100.

Joe and Chris Ferzoco join Keller Williams

OCEAN CITY — Joe Ferzoco and Chris Ferzoco of The Ferzoco Group, one of the country’s top-producing real estate teams, is leaving Re/Max at the Shore to join the Keller Williams Realty team at the Jersey Shore market center.

“We’re excited to welcome Joe and Chris and the entire Ferzoco Group to the Keller Williams family,” said operating principal Paul Chiolo. “This market center succeeds through its people, and having Joe and Chris on our team is a huge win for us.”

Old Salt to close Boardwalk store

OCEAN CITY — Old Salt on the Ocean City Boardwalk announced that after 38 years, it will be closing after Thanksgiving weekend.

The business made the announcement Thursday afternoon via Facebook.

OCEAN CITY — Looking to bring a taste of the coal country to the Jersey Shore, Frankie’s on the Bay at 10th Street will open this month.

Located at 1050 Bay Ave., the site of the former Bongo Cafe, the newly renovated restaurant will be “set back in time,” according to co-owner Laura Sacco.

OCEAN CITY — Missing the charm of a smaller boutique, Paul Cunningham happily relocated his popular P. Francis gift shop from larger digs in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue to its new perch at 846 Asbury Ave.

“We got our cozy back,” Cunningham said, delighted with the more intimate setting.
