Jen Tracy featured at Ocean City Arts Center in March

The depiction of the Occupy Wall Street crowd is called “Those Orange Beams.” The depiction of the Occupy Wall Street crowd is called “Those Orange Beams.” New Jersey artist Jen Tracy brings her watercolor and ink depictions of the modern world to the Ocean City Arts Center March 1-31. A meet the artist reception, free and open to the public, will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 9. 

 

A resident of Galloway Township, Tracy holds a degree in painting and art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design. A former mural artist, Tracy's work can be found throughout public areas in New JerseyPennsylvania and Georgia. The artist's watercolor and ink paintings are created on site. Arts Center Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin said, “We fell in love with Jen's work when she was featured in our juried art show last November. Her paintings are bold and colorful, and range from views of everyday scenes to the chaos of a political rally.”
