OCEAN CITY — After a two-month renovation project that included gutting the building, installing a drive-through window, updating the façade and creating an outdoor patio area, Dunkin' Donuts reopened at 5 a.m. Sunday, June 10 at the corner of 10th Street and West Avenue. The project also included resurfacing the parking lot with asphalt and redirecting traffic to enter the lot from West and exit onto 10th.
Dunkin' Donuts will celebrate with grand re-opening of its newly remodeled restaurant on Saturday, June 16. Festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Jay Gillian and Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michele Gillian, and Arun Mandi, franchisee of Dunkin’ Donuts.
The celebration will include several prize giveaways, kids face painting and pictures with Dunkin’ Donuts mascots. The first 100 guests after the ribbon cutting will receive vouchers for one free coffee per week for a year.
The new Ocean City location will be open 24-hours a day and features a new, modern look for guests. The restaurant design features a warmer interior color palette with tan and brown hues and the signature pink and orange, comfortable seating for guests who want to eat inside the restaurant, and atmospheric lighting, as well as a new drive-through for faster service.
“We are proud to serve the hard-working people of Ocean City and hope to become a popular destination and an everyday routine for guests looking for high quality coffee, baked goods and snacks delivered fast in a friendly environment and at an affordable price,” Mandi said.
The Ocean City location is one of 23 Dunkin’ Donuts owned by Mandi, 18 of which are located within Atlantic County.
