Dog costume contest cancelled

OCEAN CITY — The Halloween Dog Costume Contest has been cancelled due to the possibility of rain on Saturday, Oct. 20.
However, the Ocean City PTA will still conduct the contest through submitted pictures. Send in your favorite pictures of your dog or dogs and a $3 entry fee to

, OC PTA, P.O. Box 144, Ocean City, NJ 08226 or put them in an envelope marked OC PTA Halloween Dog Contest and have your child hand it in to their homeroom teacher by Nov. 5. Include your pet’s name, your address and cell number. Make checks payable to OC PTA.
Winners will be chosen from the following categories: scariest, most adorable, most awkward, funniest, most original, most beautiful and most creative.
