Junior Miss Ocean City crowned Saturday

The Junior Miss Ocean City Pageant takes place 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk.
This is a scholarship pageant for girls ages 12-15. Participants must live in or attend Ocean City Schools or parents must be a property owner in Ocean City. Seventeen girls will compete in judges’ interview, talent competition, poise and composure and an on-stage question. The girls will be vying for more than $5,300 in scholarships and awards. Reigning Little Miss Ocean City Paige Aita will be performing, as well as Miss Ocean City Devon Vanderslice, and former Junior Miss Ocean City Emily Aita. Reigning Junior Miss Ocean City Kylie Clearkin will crown her successor. Tickets are $10 and are available at City Hall, 861 Asbury Ave. Seating selection is by reservation and is on a first-come first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. For ticket information, call 525-9300.
