OC plans second Tribute to the Philippines July 23-24

Ocean City is planning its second annual Tribute to the Philippines, Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24, at the historic Boardwalk Music Pier.

The weekend will include a trade show of Filipino products in the Pavilion area of the pier both days, a program featuring Filipino and American entertainment 8 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in the Music Pier Auditorium and an outreach program for Filipino Americans living on the East Coast on July 23 in the Pier Auditorium. The outreach program will acquaint American Filipinos with services they can receive from the Filipino Consulate in New York.

The event is being organized by entertainer and Ocean City business owner Rene Sese and Ocean City public relations director Mark Soifer.
