Nancy Palermo of Linwood and Sue Rau of Marmora paint a mural in the hallway outside of the Ocean City Free Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 8. The mural features caricatures of famous writers, including Ocean City’s own Gay Talese, who formerly wrote for the New York Times. Palermo said the two began painting five days ago and expects the mural to be completed in the next few days.
