The Ocean City Police Department responded to 600 calls for service Feb. 19-25.
On Sunday, Feb. 19, police had 88 calls for service, responded to one alarm, made 33 motor vehicle stops and 19 property checks, and assisted with six fire calls and nine EMS calls.
Driving while intoxicated investigation at 2:32 a.m. on the 5200 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Burglary investigation at 10:57 a.m. on the 2200 block of Asbury Avenue.
Verbal dispute at 11:04 a.m. on the 600 block of Wesley Avenue.
Criminal mischief investigation at 12:11 p.m. on the 100 block of 12th Street.
Theft investigation at 12:33 p.m. on the 1500 block of Asbury Avenue.
Domestic violence investigation at 12:51 p.m. on the 600 block of Wesley Avenue.
Disorderly conduct investigation at 5:07 p.m. on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue.
On Monday, Feb. 20, police had 58 calls for service, responded to one accident, made 17 motor vehicle stops and 17 property checks, and assisted with six fire calls and nine EMS calls.
Verbal dispute at 12:51 a.m. on the 300 block of Asbury Avenue.
Criminal mischief investigation at 1:57 a.m. on the 800 block of Fifth Street.
Warrant service at 7:21 a.m. on the 700 block of West Avenue.
Hit and run motor vehicle accident at 1:44 p.m. on Morningside Road.
On Tuesday, Feb. 21, police had 78 calls for service, responded to one accident and one alarm, made 22 motor vehicle stops and 31 property checks, and assisted with seven fire calls and 10 EMS calls.
Suicide investigation at 10:44 a.m. on the 100 block of 12th Street.
Motor vehicle accident at 4:13 p.m. on the 800 block of West Avenue; no injuries reported.
On Wednesday, Feb. 22, police had 101 calls for service, responded to two accidents and two alarms, made 37 motor vehicle stops and 34 property checks, and assisted with five fire calls and four EMS calls.
Warrant service at 1:31 a.m. on Route 52; one in custody.
Level one lockdown at 9:39 a.m. at the high school.
Harassment investigation at 9:49 a.m. on the 200 block of Crescent Road.
Motor vehicle accident at 11 a.m. at 16th Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Motor vehicle accident at 3:22 p.m. on the 300 block of Eighth Street; no injuries reported.
Drug investigation at 8:51 p.m. on the 800 block of Moorlyn Terrace; one in custody.
Verbal dispute at 10:27 p.m. on the 900 block of Asbury Avenue.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, police had 112 calls for service, responded to four accidents and four alarms, made 27 motor vehicle stops and 30 property checks, and assisted with seven fire calls and 10 EMS calls.
Motor vehicle accident at 8 a.m. at 34th Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Warrant service at 12:02 p.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.
Motor vehicle accident at 1:03 p.m. on the 600 block of Asbury Avenue; injuries reported.
Harassment investigation at 3:38 p.m. on the 600 block of Wesley Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 4:56 p.m. at 14th Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Warrant service at 5:20 p.m. on the 800 block of Fifth Street; one in custody.
Motor vehicle accident at 10:18 p.m. on the 34th Street bridge; no injuries reported.
On Friday, Feb. 24, police had 68 calls for service, responded to two accidents and three alarms, made 27 motor vehicle stops and 17 property checks, and assisted with three fire calls and five EMS calls.
Motor vehicle accident at 11:39 a.m. at Ninth Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Harassment investigation at 1:05 p.m. on the 500 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 2:46 p.m. at 21st Street and Bay Avenue; no injuries reported.
Domestic violence investigation at 10:51 p.m. on the 400 block of West Avenue.
On Saturday, Feb. 25, police had 95 calls for service, responded to one accident and one alarm, made 26 motor vehicle stops and 23 property checks, and assisted with three fire calls and one EMS call.
Motor vehicle accident at 12:46 p.m. at Ninth Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Criminal mischief investigation at 12:46 p.m. on Tioga Terrace.
Trespassing investigation at 5:45 p.m. on the 900 block of Pennlyn Place.
Trespassing investigation at 6 p.m. on the 3400 block of Wesley Avenue.
Public service announcements:
It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
When driving on Route 52, remain alert for sudden stops due to ongoing construction.
A reminder that New Jersey law requires all snow and ice removed from a vehicle prior to driving on a public roadway.
Arrests:
Mauro Carrasco, 18, of Atlantic City was arrested Feb. 8 by Patrolman Johnson and Sgt. Randles and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jamiee Speicher, 19, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 8 by Detectives Sullivan and Fearnhead and charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Justin Hamlett, 21, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Feb. 12 by Patrolmen Wilent and Wilson and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Margaret Pritchard, 59, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 14 by Patrolman Helphenstine and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Daniel Werner, 37, of Somers Point was arrested Feb. 16 by Patrolmen Koob and Swillo and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Daniel Medina, 22, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 16 by Detectives Sullivan and Fearnhead and charged with burglary and theft.
Meghan Maguire, 20, of Broomall, Pa. was arrested Feb. 19 by Patrolmen Gheen and Clark and charged with driving while intoxicated.
John Anderson, 36, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 20 by Patrolman Ruf for an active warrant and was charged with obstructing the administration of law.
Gerald Robertson, 27, of Ocean City was arrested Feb. 23 by Detective Sullivan and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
