The Ocean City Police Department responded to 555 calls for service March 4-10.
On Sunday, March 4, police had 92 calls for service, made 35 motor vehicle stops and 27 property checks, and assisted with four fire calls and six EMS calls.
Verbal dispute at 4:11 a.m. on the 400 block of Haven Avenue.
Disorderly conduct investigation at 3:04 p.m. on the 500 block of Atlantic Avenue.
On Monday, March 5, police had 73 calls for service, responded to one alarm, made 20 motor vehicle stops and 26 property checks, and assisted with four fire calls and five EMS calls.
Trespassing investigation at 11:52 a.m. on the 800 block of Plymouth Place.
Harassment investigation at 12:11 p.m. on the 1500 block of Simpson Avenue.
Burglary investigation at 3 p.m. on the 500 block of Fourth Street.
Harassment investigation at 9:29 p.m. on the 1300 block of Asbury Avenue.
On Tuesday, March 6, police had 65 calls for service, responded to two alarms, made 14 motor vehicle stops and 20 property checks, and assisted with four fire calls and eight EMS calls.
Warrant service at 5:55 a.m. on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue; one in custody.
Warrant service at 8:49 a.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.
Theft investigation at 3:25 p.m. on the 800 block of Ocean Avenue.
Drug investigation at 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Atlantic Avenue; one in custody.
On Wednesday, March 7, police had 79 calls for service, responded to two alarms, made 31 motor vehicle stops and 17 property checks, and assisted with one fire call and two EMS calls.
Driving while intoxicated investigation at 4:36 p.m. on the 500 block of Asbury Avenue; one in custody.
Warrant service at 7:36 p.m. on Route 52; one in custody.
On Thursday, March 8, police had 78 calls for service, responded to five alarms, made 14 motor vehicle stops and 23 property checks, and assisted with 10 fire calls and six EMS calls.
Trespassing investigation at 3:12 p.m. on the 900 block of Seacliff Road.
On Friday, March 9, police had 81 calls for service, responded to two accidents and two alarms, made 26 motor vehicle stops and 30 property checks, and assisted with four fire calls and two EMS calls.
Trespassing investigation at 11:45 a.m. on the 200 block of Ninth Street.
Motor vehicle accident at 4:44 p.m. at 40th Street and West Avenue; no injuries reported.
Theft investigation at 5:25 p.m. on the 200 block of Wesley Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 8:03 p.m. at 16th Street and Simpson Avenue; no injuries reported.
On Saturday, March 10, police had 87 calls for service, responded to one accident and three alarms, made 17 motor vehicle stops and 31 property checks, and assisted with eight fire calls and eight EMS calls.
Motor vehicle accident at 8:47 a.m. at Ninth Street and West Avenue; injuries reported.
Domestic violence investigation at 11:08 a.m. on the 100 block of Asbury Avenue.
Trespassing investigation at 11:24 a.m. on the 5000 block of Central Avenue.
Threats investigation at 6:15 p.m. on the 600 block of Wesley Avenue.
Public service announcements:
It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
When driving on Route 52, remain alert for sudden stops due to ongoing construction.
Arrests:
Sunny McNulty, 36, of Ocean City was arrested March 2 by Patrolman Koob and Sgt. Tabor and charged with possession of drugs, possession of a hypodermic syringe and endangering the welfare of a child.
Brian Britton, 38, of Ocean City was arrested March 2 by Sgt. Tabor and Patrolman Koob and charged with possession of drugs, possession of a hypodermic syringe, endangering the welfare of a child and active warrants.
Ryan Frost, 19, of Ocean City was arrested March 6 by Patrolmen Swillo and Vogt and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Pauline Balabon, 80, of Ocean City was arrested March 7 by Patrolman Porreca and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Sebastian Gonzalez, 22, of Pleasantville was arrested March 11 by Patrolman Walsh and Lt. Sharpe and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Giovannie Paz, 20, of Atlantic City was arrested March 11 by Patrolman Walsh and Lt. Sharpe and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
