Dredge project underway

Work on a $1.8 million project to dredge Ocean City’s lagoons has begun with the laying of pipe, starting at the 34th Street bridge. Employees of Hydro-Marine Construction, Inc. of Hainesport were in their third week of work Tuesday, fusing pipe that will extend to 16th Street. The project should be completed by Nov. 30.
