Local groups benefit from Ocean City Home Bank grants

OCEAN CITY —At the organization’s semiannual awards reception on July 18, the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation distributed a total of $50,000 in grants to 20 nonprofit organizations, including:

“Since its founding in 1887, Ocean City Home Bank has actively supported the community, through volunteer efforts, financial contributions, and more recently, through grants from the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation Charitable Foundation President Jean Jacobson said. “As the bank celebrates its 125th year of service, it is especially gratifying to assist these worthwhile organizations that share our dedication to improving our communities and helping those in need.”

Since the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation awarded its first grants in 2005, the organization has donated over $740,000 to charitable organizations throughout Atlantic and Cape May counties.
