The Ocean City Police Department responded to 562 calls for service Oct. 14-20.
Sunday, Oct. 14: 83 calls for service, 22 motor vehicle stops, two accidents, 32 property checks, two alarms, two fire calls and six EMS calls
Motor vehicle accident at 7:17 a.m. on the 800 block of Sixth Street; no injuries.
Trespassing at 9:46 a.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 10:28 a.m. on the 800 block of Fifth Street; no injuries.
Theft at 2:11 p.m. on the 400 block of Central Avenue.
Warrant service at 5:45 p.m. on the 800 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Threats at 6:49 p.m. on the 100 block of Asbury Avenue.
Monday, Oct. 15: 88 calls for service, 26 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 31 property checks, five alarms, two fire call and three EMS calls
Theft at 10:12 a.m. on the 800 block of West Avenue.
Theft at 10:23 a.m. on the 1400 block of Haven Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 11:01 a.m. on the 400 block of Ocean Avenue; no injuries.
Warrant service at 3:13 p.m. on the 2700 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Criminal mischief at 8 p.m. on the 1300 block of West Avenue.
Tuesday, Oct. 16: 62 calls for service, 15 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 23 property checks, four alarms and four fire calls
Motor vehicle accident at 12:44 p.m. on Shelter Road; no injuries.
Warrant service at 5:31 p.m. on the 900 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Warrant service at 10:05 p.m. on the 1200 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Wednesday, Oct. 17: 69 calls for service, 12 motor vehicle stops, two accidents, 28 property checks, two alarms, five fire calls and five EMS calls
Hit and run motor vehicle accident at 6:46 a.m. at 22nd Street and Bay Avenue.
Theft at 10:25 a.m. on the 4900 block of West Avenue.
Motor vehicle accident at 1:18 p.m. on the 1300 block of West Avenue; no injuries.
Warrant service at 5:45 p.m. on the 600 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Thursday, Oct. 18: 87 calls for service, 19 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 30 property checks, six alarms, six fire calls and seven EMS calls
Hit and run motor vehicle accident at 7:03 a.m. on the 900 block of West Avenue.
Warrant service at 9:35 a.m. on the 700 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.
Friday, Oct. 19: 70 calls for service, 20 motor vehicle stops, 29 property checks, four alarms, three alarms, three fire calls and four EMS calls
Drug investigation at 11:32 p.m. on the 100 block of Boardwalk; one in custody.
Saturday, Oct. 20: 103 calls for service, 44 motor vehicle stops, two accidents, 18 property checks, three alarms, 10 fire calls and 10 EMS calls
Fraud at 2:01 a.m. on the 3000 block of Simpson Avenue.
Verbal dispute at 5:42 p.m. on the 400 block of Haven Avenue.
Hit and run motor vehicle accident at 11:50 a.m. at Fourth Street and Asbury Avenue.
Theft at 3 p.m. on the 2500 block of Bay Avenue.
Drug investigation at 3:39 p.m. on the 800 block of Boardwalk; one in custody.
Harassment at 7:47 p.m. on the 4900 block of West Avenue.
Warrant service at 8:58 p.m. on 34th Street; one in custody.
Public service announcements:
It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
When driving on Route 52, remember the speed limit is 40 mph.
City ordinance prohibits any boat or trailer over 22 feet in overall length from being parked on a city street. Any boat or trailer less than 22 feet in overall length can only remain on a city street for three consecutive days. Officers will be issuing summons and towing boats or trailers for any observed violations.
