69-year-old woman killed by public works truck

SEA ISLE CITY – A public works truck struck and killed a 69-year-old woman on the Promenade Saturday, according to police.
Police said that a Sea Isle City public works truck was cleaning storm debris from Hurricane Sandy on the Promenade at 1:07 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 when it hit the victim, a 69-year-old woman from Medford.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, said police. There are no criminal charges at the time.
The accident is still under investigation by the Sea Isle City Police Department and Cape May County Prosecutors Office.
