The Ocean City Police Department responded to 611 calls for service Dec. 2-8.

Sunday, Dec. 2: 57 calls for service, 19 motor vehicle stops, 17 property checks, two alarms, three fire calls and four EMS calls

Weapons offense at 1:28 p.m. on 34th Street.

Domestic violence at 6:44 p.m. on the 600 block of Wesley Avenue.

Harassment at 7:13 p.m. on Wesley Road.

Monday, Dec. 3: 104 calls for service, 46 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 29 property checks, two alarms, 11 fire calls and eight EMS calls

Motor vehicle accident at 9:32 a.m. on the 700 block of Asbury Avenue; no injuries.

Warrant service at 3:24 p.m. on the 900 block of Bay Avenue; one in custody.

Domestic violence at 10:23 p.m. on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue.

Tuesday, Dec. 4: 85 calls for service, 25 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 34 property checks, seven fire calls and four EMS calls

Harassment at 10:59 p.m. on the 1000 block of Central Avenue.

Motor vehicle accident at 1:34 p.m. on the Rush Chattin Bridge; no injuries.

Warrant service at 1:46 p.m. on the 2000 block of Bay Avenue; one in custody.

Wednesday, Dec. 5: 91 calls for service, 29 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 26 property checks, four alarms, six fire calls and six EMS calls

Harassment at 3:12 a.m. on the 600 block of Boardwalk.

Theft at 11:30 a.m. on the 3400 block of Simpson Avenue; two in custody.

Hit and run motor vehicle accident at noon on 11th Street.

Shoplifting at 5:36 p.m. on the 3400 block of Simpson Avenue.

Theft at 5:46 p.m. on the 1600 block of Haven Avenue.

Thursday, Dec. 6: 89 calls for service, 28 motor vehicle stops, 29 property checks, three alarms, two fire calls and two EMS calls

Theft at 8:22 a.m. on the 100 block of Central Avenue.

Domestic violence at 1:46 p.m. on the 400 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.

Fraud investigation at 7:47 p.m. on Folger Court.

Friday, Dec. 7: 87 calls for service, 32 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 28 property checks, two alarms, seven fire calls and nine EMS calls

Harassment at 8:02 a.m. on the 1200 block of Haven Avenue.

Warrant service at 9:25 a.m. on Route 52; one in custody.

Motor vehicle accident at 2:38 p.m. at 11th Street and Bay Avenue; no injuries.

Saturday, Dec. 8: 98 calls for service, 35 motor vehicle stops, 22 property checks, four alarms, seven fire calls and six EMS calls

Criminal mischief at 9:21 a.m. on Waterview Boulevard.

Criminal mischief at 11:07 a.m. on Bartram Lane.

Warrant service at 5 p.m. on the 900 block of Asbury Avenue; one in custody.

Criminal mischief at 5:30 p.m. on Somerset Lane.

Burglary at 8:09 p.m. on the 500 block of Ninth Street.

Drug investigation at 8:31 p.m. on the 700 block of Moorlyn Terrace; one in custody.

Public service announcements:

It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.

When driving on Route 52, remember the speed limit is 40 mph.  

City ordinance prohibits any boat or trailer over 22 feet in overall length from being parked on a city street. Any boat or trailer less than 22 feet in overall length can only remain on a city street for three consecutive days. Officers will be issuing summons and towing boats or trailers for any observed violations.
