The Ocean City Police Department responded to 487 calls for service Dec. 16-22.

Sunday, Dec. 16: 84 calls for service, 35 motor vehicle stops, 26 property checks, two alarms, three fire calls and two EMS calls

Eluding at 11:12 p.m. on the 800 block of Ocean Avenue.

Monday, Dec. 17: 75 calls for service, 26 motor vehicle stops, 15 property checks, six alarms, seven fire calls and four EMS calls

Warrant service at 3:24 p.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.

Burglary at 6:27 p.m. on the 2700 block of Haven Avenue.

Tuesday, Dec. 18: 84 calls for service, 28 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 21 property checks, six alarms, four fire calls and seven EMS calls

Driving while intoxicated at 1:48 a.m. on the 800 block of West Avenue; one in custody.

Motor vehicle accident at 12:54 p.m. at Eighth Street and Bay Avenue; no injuries.

Criminal mischief at 8:17 p.m. on Surf Road.

Domestic violence at 8:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of West Avenue.

Wednesday, Dec. 19: 81 calls for service, 34 motor vehicle stops, 23 property checks, two alarms, two fire calls and four EMS calls

Theft at 9:05 a.m. on the 1200 block of Pleasure Avenue.

Drug investigation at 9:22 a.m. on the 500 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Warrant service at 4:37 p.m. on the 700 block of West Avenue; one in custody.

Thursday, Dec. 20: 59 calls for service, 18 motor vehicle stops, 13 property checks, six alarms, two fire calls and two EMS calls

Warrant service at midnight on the 1000 block of Bay Avenue; one in custody.

Warrant service at 11:31 a.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.

Domestic violence at 12:26 p.m. on the 800 block of Seventh Street.

Warrant service at 3 p.m. on the 800 block of Central Avenue; one in custody.

Theft at 3:33 p.m. on the 1200 block of Pleasure Avenue.

Harassment at 5:59 p.m. on Surf Road.

Friday, Dec. 21: 85 calls for service, 22 motor vehicle stops, 21 property checks, seven alarms, 14 fire calls and four EMS calls

Burglary at 12:42 p.m. on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue.

Harassment at 3:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Wesley Avenue.

Shoplifting at 6:07 p.m. on 34th Street.

Burglary at 7:03 p.m. on 12th Street.

Drug investigation at 9:11 p.m. on the 5400 block of Haven Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 22: 19 calls for service, 12 motor vehicle stops, three property checks, three fire calls and one EMS calls

Call were not able to be entered due to computer problems.

Public service announcements:

It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.

When driving on Route 52, remember the speed limit is 40 mph.  

City ordinance prohibits any boat or trailer over 22 feet in overall length from being parked on a city street. Any boat or trailer less than 22 feet in overall length can only remain on a city street for three consecutive days. Officers will be issuing summons and towing boats or trailers for any observed violations.
