The Ocean City Police Department responded to 705 calls for service Feb. 3-9.
Sunday, Feb. 3: 88 calls for service, 43 motor vehicle stops, 17 property checks, three alarms, seven fire calls and four EMS calls
Warrant service at 12:25 p.m. on the 900 block of Ocean Avenue; one in custody.
Burglary at 3:48 p.m. on the 400 block of Eighth Street.
Domestic violence at 11:03 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue; one in custody.
Monday, Feb. 4: 92 calls for service, 31 motor vehicle stops, 37 property checks, one alarm, five fire calls and three EMS calls
Theft at 10 a.m. on the 3300 block of Asbury Avenue.
Domestic violence at 3:21 p.m. on the 200 block of Simpson Avenue.
Burglary at 7:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Wesley Avenue; two in custody.
Tuesday, Feb. 5: 111 calls for service, 38 motor vehicle stops, 40 property checks, one alarm, three fire calls and three EMS calls
Theft at 12:45 a.m. on the 600 block of Third Street.
Theft at 10:08 a.m. on the 400 block of Asbury Avenue.
Theft at 10:37 a.m. on the 3000 block of Central Avenue.
Wednesday, Feb. 6: 80 calls for service, 20 motor vehicle stops, one accident, 22 property checks, nine alarms, nine fire calls and nine EMS calls
Criminal mischief at 6:11 a.m. on the 700 block of 11th Street.
Criminal mischief at 7:10 a.m. on the 800 block of West Avenue.
Harassment at 11 a.m. on the 400 block of 21st Street.
Hit and run motor vehicle accident at 2:43 p.m. on the 600 block of Ocean Avenue.
Warrant service at 7 p.m. on the 900 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Thursday, Feb. 7: 76 calls for service, 27 motor vehicle stops, 20 property checks, two alarms, two fire calls and two EMS calls
Warrant service at 12:29 p.m. on the 800 block of Ocean Avenue; one in custody.
Domestic violence at 9:54 p.m. on the 900 block of Simpson Avenue; one in custody.
Friday, Feb. 8: 113 calls for service, 34 motor vehicle stops, two accidents, 43 property checks, two alarms, six fire calls and six EMS calls
Motor vehicle accident at 11:01 a.m. on the 700 block of Asbury Avenue; no injuries.
Motor vehicle accident at 1:55 p.m. on 34th Street; no injuries.
Saturday, Feb. 9: 145 calls for service, 67 motor vehicle stops, 44 property checks, three alarms, two fire calls and six EMS calls
Warrant service at 10:45 a.m. on the 900 block of West Avenue; one in custody.
Fraud at 3:06 p.m. at Flinders Reef.
Public service announcements:
It is a violation of a city ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
When driving on Route 52, remember the speed limit is 40 mph.
City ordinance prohibits any boat or trailer over 22 feet in overall length from being parked on a city street. Any boat or trailer less than 22 feet in overall length can only remain on a city street for three consecutive days. Officers will be issuing summons and towing boats or trailers for any observed violations.
