Individuals and businesses will continue to be served one-on-one with existing disaster recovery centers transitioning to U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Centers as of Friday, March 1.

Federal Emergency Management Agency staff will also be available at the center to provide clarification to letters, assist survivors with finding a temporary home if their primary residence was damaged or destroyed, check on the status of their application for assistance or refer survivors to other agencies that may provide additional help. Survivors also can consult with Small Business Administration customer service representatives and FEMA mitigation specialists.

The Ocean City Disaster Recovery Center is located in the Ocean City Library, 1735 Simpson Ave., and staffed 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is now April 1, 2013. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
