After four years, the investigation into the disappearance of John Weisbecker continues. Ocean City Police issued a press release Monday, March 11 announcing the date as the fourth anniversary of Weisbecker’s disappearance from his home in the 200 block of Asbury Avenue and seeking information.

Weisbecker was last seen around 10:30 a.m. by a local postal worker. By 8 p.m., his family had determined he was missing. The investigation indicates that Weisbecker disappeared shortly before noon. Evidence at the scene shows signs of a struggle and that Weisbecker did not leave of his own free will. Weisbecker is described at the time of his disappearance as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with brown hair and a brown mustache, blue eyes, and numerous tattoos on his torso and arms. He would be 25 years of age today.

To date, the investigation is ongoing by the Cape May County Prosecutors Office, FBI, the Ocean City Police Department and the New Jersey State Police. A reward of $50,000 has been offered to anyone providing information on his whereabouts.
