Somers Point man fatally stabbed and beaten in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE – A 20-year-old Somers Point man was fatally stabbed and beaten on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in Pleasantville, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said.

Daniel Aguilar of Somers Point was found at approximately 3 a.m. outside Wash’s Inn on Route 9 after the Pleasantville Police Department responded to a report of a homicide. The Atlantic County Prosecutor Office’s Major Crimes Unit was then called to the scene.

Both agencies are investigating the homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at (609) 909-7666 or the Pleasantville Police Department at (609) 641-6100.
