Absecon police searching for vending machine bandits

The Absecon Police Department released this surveillance photo of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a vending machine Sept. 19 at Mike’s Absecon Auto on Route 30.  

ABSECON – Police are looking for a pair of bandits who robbed a vending machine 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Mike’s Absecon Auto on Route 30.

Absecon police said the incident was captured on surveillance video which showed two white or Hispanic male suspects. One cut the lock while the other served as a lookout, police said.

They appear to be in their late 20s to mid-30s, police said. Both have facial hair. They arrived in a red Jeep Wrangler with a tan soft top.
