Flooding closes parts of Route 40, Route 30 (UPDATE)

(UPDATE) After being closed for a time by tidal flooding, Atlantic County is reporting that as of 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, Route 40 is now open. Route 30 (the White Horse Pike) at Shore Road in Absecon was reported closed at 10 a.m.
