PLEASANTVILLE - A Pleasantville man is suffering from serious and potentially life-threatening injuries after he was struck while crossing the road in his wheelchair and dragged by a tractor trailer on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Kevin McCarten, 44, of Pleasantville was seriously injured shortly before 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 while he crossed New Road at the intersection with the Black Horse Pike, according to a statement from Pleasantville Police Capt. Sean Riggin.
McCarten was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Division by Pleasantville Fire and Rescue with assistance from AtlantiCare medics, Riggin said.
