The equipment included bats, balls, gloves, tennis rackets, soccer balls and hockey sticks. Those items will be given to children living in foster care in Atlantic and Cape May counties so that they can participate in team sports, camps and community leagues.

“We are thrilled to have these things for our CASA children,” said CASA Director of Community Development Karen DeRosa. “Sometimes our youth do not have access to this type of equipment, or they grow out of the things that they do have. The Lions have provided a wonderful selection of sporting equipment that will help children enjoy summer sports or just have a catch with their CASA Volunteer or foster parent.”
