MULLICA TOWNSHIP –A motorcyclist and his passenger died Sunday evening after they were involved in single-vehicle accident on a twisty and rural section of Pleasant Mills-Weekstown Road.

Kevin D. Stocker, 42, of Williamstown died at the scene and his passenger, Donna M. Fare, 41, of West Deptford, was pronounced dead shortly later at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division.

The accident occurred at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, June 22, on Pleasant Mills-Weekstown Road between Jackson Road and Nesco Road, according to a release issued by the Mullica Township Police Department.

Both Stocker and Fare were unconscious and in grave condition when police arrived.

Stocker died soon after the crash, police said.

Stocker was riding a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on Pleasant Mills-Weekstown Road when he lost control on the bridge going over Nescochague Creek near the old Pleasant Mills site.

Police said speed and alcohol consumption are factors in the collision.
